Attend an exclusive day of celebration honoring and adding meaning to Veterans Day! Celebrate and view the artwork of local veterans, share their stories, show support for their journey and their accomplishments at the wonderful Sierra Art Foundation Gallery, located at 17 S. Virginia Street. Join DJD Foundation in honoring inaugural Veteran awardees in arts and humanities in Reno, NV. Your ticket includes admission to the Sierra Art Foundation Gallery featuring selected works from local veterans, art reception and sales, make and take activity, premier dining, keynote speaker, awards, silent auction, entertainment, and more! DJD Foundation is incredibly grateful to Sierra Arts Foundation for supporting this event.
This very special event is planned to showcase and honor the art and humanitarian work of veterans, putting them in the spotlight, revealing the depth and value of supporting Veterans' arts programs and DJD Foundation's mission. View the artwork of local veterans, share their stories, show support for their journey and celebrate their accomplishments at the wonderful Sierra Art Foundation Gallery! Dinner is provided by Wild River Grille. Make and take activity supplied by DJDF’s Veterans Art Project, Guest Speaker and Entertainment provided by Friends of DJD Foundation. Art sales and silent auction made possible by Sierra Arts Foundation, Thousand Cranes Paper Mill, and supporters such as you!
Sierra Arts Foundation Gallery is at 17 S. Virginia St. in Reno, NV. Free parking begins at 5:00 PM at the Court Street Parking Lot.
Gallery, Reception, and activities begin at 4:00. Dinner begins at 7:00. Awards and silent auction will be announced during dinner; for auction, you need not be present to win your bid.
