David J. Drakulich Foundation invites you to join our mission: to improve healing and reintegration outcomes of Northern Nevada's veterans, the military-connected community and their caretakers. David J. Drakulich Foundation's Quality Programs:
Thousand Cranes Paper Mill teaches veterans and military families to make paper from military uniforms. Combat Paper Nevada inspires such creative and expressive art projects as the Legend of 1000 Combat Paper Cranes and Waving in the Wind.
Northern Nevada Veterans Writing Project provides opportunities to compose, edit, refine and publish written works through support groups, peer coaching, mentor coaching, workshops, and publishing opportunities such as seen in Rucksack Revelations and Sea Bag Stories produced with Reno Little Theater, July 2018.
Sgt. Drakulich Memorial Scholarship established at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada, for veterans or military-connected.
Veterans Art Program provides veterans with art lessons, gallery opportunities, support groups, peer critiques and serves communities with art experiences that express the voices of veterans and the military community.
FUN-Damental Art Instruction provides basic visual art skills for veterans, the military-connected community and their caregivers.
